  • Project description:
In an invited urban planning and architecture competition for the Kielce University of Technology we designed a new stadium 13 500 m² on the campus site. To not obstruct views over the campus the stadium is lowered one level under the ground. The grandstand can accommodate 1 200 people under a protecting cantilevering roof. The stadium includes closed facilities of 1 500 m² like a cafe, restaurant, kiosk and sanitary amenities above ground and Changing rooms and storage spaces below ground with separate entrances for spectators, athletes and VIPs. The VIP area has room for 60 people. Additionally there is an uncovered seating area for more than 600 people opposite the grandstand. Being located below ground level spectators can gather all around the stadium and enjoy views on the pitch. The Stadium is equipped with a full football pitch and facilities for athletic activities like running tracks, long and high jump fields, etc.
